A man in Afghanistan Ahmad Javid is our NSP Design Engineer. He has worked on the construction of reservoirs, bridges, wells, culverts and water supply projects in villages throughout Badakhshan.
I would like to thank all those agencies that are working for our war ravaged country. With their continued support our people can become self-sufficient. The Afghan people won’t forget those who have helped them. Thank you.
Dr Emam Alimi is a technical surveyor in the Engineering Department, working on the design and implementation of projects.
I really feel a responsibility to help people suffering in Afghanistan. This is why I came to work with Afghanaid. The impact of our projects is clear. The construction of roads and bridges plays an important role in the reduction of prices. Building intakes, canals and irrigation systems helps to increase yields of food crops. I remember in 1995 I worked on the construction of a road linking Sheghnan district with the rest of Badakhshan. When our vehicle arrived in Ghar-e-Jaween, it was the first car ever seen in the village. People ran towards us full of excitement and enthusiasm. They were so happy. Afghanistan needs your assistance and the nation will never forget all the help you have already given us. The Afghan people won’t forget those who have helped them. Thank you.
