Afghanaid hosted a special evening with renowned author Mr Ahmed Rashid, and many other important intellectuals and interested supporter's of Afghanaid's work, at Turkmen Gallery, central London.
Through Mr Rashid kindly agreeing to talk about his latest book “Descent into Chaos: The United States and the Failure of Nation Building in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Central Asia”, an engaging and contsructive discussion and exchange of ideas and thoughts upon the current political situation in Afghanistan and future prospects for the country was had.
