Great Wall Cycle Challenge
GREAT WALL CYCLE CHALLENGE:
Friday 25th September to Sunday 4th October 2009
Are you looking for a challenge that will provide you with memories which will last forever? Then you should consider Afghanaid's Great Wall Cycle Trip!
If you are interested in taking part, on the trip you will:
- Cycle over 400kms along the Great Wall of China
- Witness Imperial China's frontline defence
- Experience rural life around the UNESCO Heritage Site
- Explore Beijing's Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven
- Optional Xian extension to see the Terracotta Warriors
In order to take part in the challenge, you will need to pay a £325 deposit fee and pay or fundraise £2675 (with an additional £64 for travel insurance).
While preparing, we will provide you with a dedicated event manager to help you reach the fundraising target and answer any questions. Also, we will organise a pre-trip event so you can meet your fellow cyclists.
