Virgin London Marathon 2011

It was undoubtedly a fascinating event, full of passion and endless excitement. People gathered around some of London's most famous sights to cheer on runners. Runners started in  Greenwich, wend their way through Deptford, crossed over to Docklands before finally heading to Westminster through Victoria Embarkment.

Congratulations to all our indefatigable runners and volunteers for the effort put in on the day. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer the runners on, make food for the reception and give the tired runners a massage at the end. But the biggest thanks goes to our amazing team of Afghanaid runners!
