Can we claim Gift Aid on your Afghanaid donations?

HMRC’s Gift Aid Scheme allows charities to claim back the basic rate tax already paid on donations by the donor. This means that, if you are a UK taxpayer, for every £1 you donate we can claim an extra 25p, at no extra cost to you.

This means all donations you’ve made to Afghanaid in the past 4 years and all donations in the future can be Gift Aided until you notify us otherwise.

Yes - I would like all donations I’ve made to Afghanaid in the past 4 years and all donations in the future to be Gift Aided until I notify you otherwise. I am a UK taxpayer and have I paid enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount of Gift Aid Afghanaid will claim.
