Not only are women and children in Afghanistan facing extreme difficulties under the Taliban, but families are struggling to feed themselves and keep warm. Parents have been forced to sell their own kidneys to be able to afford to care for their families. It absolutely breaks my heart that just because of where these people have been born, they face so many hardships. I'm so lucky to be able to do what I love, to have goals and dreams which I know are achievable, and yet women in Afghanistan can't even leave the house unaccompanied, young girls can't go to school, families are struggling to provide for themselves.

Afghanaid not only help support and strengthen women's rights, but they also provide clean water and sanitation, help those struggling after natural disasters, and supply communities with the skills, tools and knowledge to be able to provide for themselves.

Your support could really make a difference to those who need it most. Please donate what you can today and help Afghanaid continue their work and support vulnerable Afghans for generations to come. Thank you! Rachel Harris
