No one can fail to have been moved by the humanitarian crisis caused by the recent exchange of power in Afghanistan. For those left behind, the future looks incredibly uncertain.

For close to 40 years, Afghanaid has worked with millions of vulnerable Afghans across Afghanistan, providing them with the training and tools they need to help themselves, their families and their communities.

Your support could really make a difference to those who need it most. Please give generously to provide urgent, life-saving assistance to men, women and children in Afghanistan who have been affected by conflict. Thank you!

We will also be holding a coffee morning at St. Andrew's church, Denton on Saturday 28 August from 10am til 12 to raise funds. There will be collection boxes for cash donations which will go to Afghanaid and Combat Crisis and also an area to donate clothes, shoes and toiletries to Afghan refugees now arriving in Manchester. We will collect the donations and send via Care4Calais who are experienced distributors of aid to refugees in this country and beyond and are on the ground working with the Home Office in Manchester.

Any help and support you can give will be massively appreciated! x
