Get Involved Appeals Sowing the seeds of a healthier future Donate Fundraise The vast majority of Afghan families are reliant on farming as their main source of income. Sadly, it is becoming harder and harder to make a living off the land in Afghanistan, placing an increasing burden on the poorest, already struggling, communities. Afghanaid works with men and women across the country to give them the training and equipment they need to lift themselves, and their families, out of devastating poverty. For many of us, the festive season is a time spent sharing meals with our loved ones so, this Christmas, please read Mohammad’s story and help more vulnerable Afghans put food on their families’ plates all year round, giving them the gift of a healthier future. A regular gift will help us to plan ahead and enable more people to become fully trained in establishing and cultivating a vegetable garden so that they can provide for their families.
