Many Afghans are living on the edge of life itself. Every week we hear stories of heartbreak: families selling organs or their own children to avoid starvation, men and women out of work and unable to support themselves and those who rely on them, young children malnourished and close to death. We cannot possibly understand the kind of grief and hopelessness with which many Afghans live.

For close to 40 years, Afghanaid has worked with millions of vulnerable Afghans across Afghanistan, providing them with the training and tools they need to help themselves, their families and their communities.

On Saturday 22 April 2023, a few of us from St Mary's Church Battersea will be running a 10k race around Battersea Park to raise much-needed funds for Afghanaid. Your support will make a huge difference to those who need it most. Please donate what you can and help Afghanaid continue their work and support vulnerable Afghans for now and for generations to come. Emelia, Glyn, and Jazz - St Mary's Battersea
