FCDO funds Afghanaid’s work in promoting climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and building resilient households and communities, and women's empowerment and health.
Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) Expand In Afghanistan, Switzerland, through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is addressing three areas of intervention: 1) Rule of Law and Protection, 2) Agriculture and Natural Resource Management, and 3) Basic Education. AHF funds Afghanaid’s lifesaving work in responding to the needs of people affected by natural and manmade disasters, through the provision of emergency shelter, reconstruction of homes, emergency food and winterization assistance, and emergency multi-purpose cash transfers.
